If the following criteria are all true, you can upload one or more files from an from an AWS S3 bucket to a dataset an asset in MoDaC:
- You have a MoDaC user account with upload permission.
- You are member of a group that has metadata permission on to edit that dataset asset (or you created that datasetasset).
- You have prepared You have read access to an AWS S3 bucket for use with MoDaC.
When you upload data, you become the owner of that data. (Ownership cannot be changed.)
Log in, as described in Logging In.
- Make sure your window is wide enough to display the Uploads option in the header.
- Click Uploads
Click Upload in the header. The upload page appears.
- Navigate to the dataset:
- Select an existing program or add a new one.
- Select an existing study or add a new one.
- Select an existing dataset or add a new one.

Include Page navigate step navigate step Include Page open the upload files page open the upload files page Select Transfer from AWS S3 Bucket
Click Add Data. Select Transfer from S3.
Specify the following information:
- The name of the source S3 bucket.
- The path to and the name of the folder in the source bucket.
- The AWS access key.
- The AWS secret access key.
- The region.
Click
RegisterUpload. The system transfers the data based on your selections.
When the system displays the task ID,
