The nihfnlcr#gridftp1 Globus endpoint serves as an intermediary between DME and an endpoint in the Globus Connect Personal client on your computer.

To prepare a Globus endpoint:

  1. If you do not already have a shareable Globus endpoint, contact NCIDataVault@mail.nih.gov.
  2. Share that
  3. Send a request to NCI-Frederick Helpdesk for access to the nihfnlcr#gridftp1 Globus endpoint. When prompted to do so, complete the NCI at Frederick Access Request form.
  4. Log in to Globus and install the Globus Connect Personal client, as described in Data transfer and sharing using Globus.
  5. Share the nihfnlcr#gridftp1 Globus endpoint to HPCDME, as described in Granting Write Access of the Globus Endpoint to HPCDME.
