Agenda

EVS Discussion

Systems

Discussion Points:

EVS Server replacement to VMs
  • There is a meeting to discuss this topic next Tuesday.
  • We will discuss at next week's Wednesdays meeting.
  • QA DB - Tracy will verify that everything is loaded on the QA DB.
  • LexEVS 6.4 - Tracy suggested that we can remove LexEVS 6.4 now.
    • It's been shutdown for about a month and nobody has said anything.
  • Discussion Points:

We decided to wait one additional week before removing LexEVS 6.4 to make sure any monthly tasks are still using it.
    • Recap of 07/09/19 meeting

Putting in a ticket for a new Dev tier VM to test to see if performance is sufficient.

The tickets will be for VM with the following specs:

    8 processing cores

    32 GB Memory

200 GB Storage with additional 10 GB tmp directory

The VM will host LexEVS, CTS2, URI Resolver and Term and Metathesaurus Browser

The ticket will just be for the VM, we will work on creation of containers and applications after the VM is in place.

There will be nightly backups of the VM if we ever need to do a restore but it will take a little time.

    Discussion Points:

Lyuba asked what kind of performance requirements we should have.

Tracy mentioned that Yahia would be getting the Dev db to QA

    Decision Points:

    Decision Points:

OWL2 Loader and OBI Hierarchy Display

    Discussion Points:

Should we support their unusual brand of OWL2. We may not want to support a poorly written ontology. We are unable to display a tree structure due to this.

    Decision Points:

    Lyuba will discuss with Gilberto.
