MODAC-3: Started drafting. I'm not sure how to make a download or upload fail, so I can test it myself. Does this feature work only for Globus transfers? Also, this page needs screenshots. |
Sometimes an upload or download fails due to network issues or other issues. In these cases, consider the following steps:
- Check whether the Globus group has been given write permission to the target Globus endpoint. For instructions, refer to Preparing to Use Globus.
- View the details about a specific failed request, as described in Viewing Download or Upload Status.
- Click the retry option in the Transfer Status column. The system submits a new request, identical to the original request. A message appears with a Task ID link for the new request.
- If the issue persists, click Contact in the header.
