If the following criteria are met, you can delete a collection within an asset:

  • You own the data. That is, you created the collection. 
  • The collection is empty. 

To delete a collection:

  1. Log in, as described in Logging In
  2. Perform a search, as described in Finding Data.
  3. In the search results, click the link for the asset of interest. The Asset Details page appears. 
  4. If necessary, navigate to the collection that you want to delete. (Under Asset Files, click each collection to open it.)
  5. In the row for the collection that you want to delete, click the delete collection icon. A confirmation message appears.
  6. Click Yes
