If a collection an asset is public, each sub-collection the prediction files within that asset can be public or non-public. If the following conditions are both true, you can manage can manage which groups can access a collectionthe prediction files within an asset:

• You own the collectionasset. That is, you created it, as described in in Adding a Collection. 
• You generated the prediction files. 
• The collection is a program, or the parent collection is asset is public.

If a collection an asset is non-public, all subcollections prediction files within that asset inherit its group access. You cannot make those subcollections prediction files public. If you own the parent collectionasset, consider changing the group access for that collection asset instead. Otherwise, you can request a change by selecting selecting About > Contact. For details, refer to Contacting Us.

1. Log in, as described in Logging In. 
2. Perform a search, as described in Finding Data. 
3. In the search results, each entry lists the relevant collections (program, study, and asset). A people icon appears next to each of your collections.
4. Click the people icon next to the collection of interest. The Update Access Groups dialog box appears.
5. click the link for the asset of interest. The Asset Details page appears. If you have generated predictions in this asset, or if you belong to an access group associated with the predictions in this asset, a Predictions tab lists those prediction files. 
6. Click the Predictions tab.
7. In the row you want to modify, click the edit icon. The Edit Prediction Access dialog box appears. 
8. In the Prediction Access Groups fieldIn the Access Groups Permissions field:
   • If you do not want the public to have access to the data, clear the Public checkbox and select one or more groups from the list.
   • To make the asset public, select Public.

   If the collection inherits prediction files inherit access status from the parent collectionasset, the Public the Public checkbox is not available.

9. Click Update. A message confirms the update.
