Linking to a specific place on a page
The following are the steps to link to a specific place on a page.
- Navigate to the place to which you want to link.
Immediately after the text to which you want to link, enter an anchor:
{anchor:anchortext}
where "anchortext" will be used as a "bookmark" in the link you create. Put the anchor after the item you want to be approximately at the top of the screen when the link target opens.
- Navigate to the place where you want to insert the link.
If that place is on the same page, create the link in the following form:
#anchortext
If that place is on another wiki page, create the link in the following form:
Name Of Page#anchortext
For example, the following link has the destination:
Wiki FAQs, Tips and Guidelines#warningtoavoidduplicationofcontent
The anchor text may be an anchor or a heading. If the page is in another space, precede the page name with spacekey:
