Dear NBIA Users,
We are pleased to announce release 4.3 of the National Biomedical Imaging Archive (NBIA) software available at http://imaging.nci.nih.gov.
This release includes:
- Download Manager, a new download approach, which is a Java WebStart application that downloads images in an unzipped format. It does not limit the download data size, and also allows users to pause and resume a download at any time.
- Dynamic Search, which allows users to construct queries against more DICOM tags related to collections, patients, studies, image series, and images.
- Verify Submission Tool, an administration tool, which allows administrators to generate various statistical reports regarding the image submission for a certain date range.
- Enhancement to the GUI installer, which allows users to install different components (Web App, Grid service, and CTP) on different systems.
