Charter:

The overall goal of the Best Practices SubCommittee (BPSC) will be to streamline and standardize data collection and management for canine studies.  The BPSC will examine past and planned studies and will recommend prospective standards for data collection and management including clinical, pathologic, and sequencing data. 

The BPSC will be composed of members of the Integrated Canine Data Commons Steering Committee as such:

  1. Jeff Trent (Chair)
  2. Renee Chambers
  3. Dawn Duval
  4. Allison Heath
  5. Paula Jacobs
  6. Amy LeBlanc
  7. Cheryl London
  8. Elaine Ostrander
  9. Shaying Zhou
  10. Debbie Knapp (Chair of ICDC SC, ex-officio to the BPSC)

The BPSC may decide that smaller working groups are necessary and on the call of 4/10/19, the following were suggested as an initial idea:

Imaging WG: Amy LeBlanc, Paula Jacobs

Clinical/pathologic standards WG: Amy LeBlanc, Cheryl London, maybe Debbie Knapp?

Genomics WG: Jeff Trent, Elaine Ostrander, Shaying Zhou
