  1. Create or import an investigation, as described in one of the following pages:
  2. If the investigation does not already have at least one study, add one, as described in Adding a Study
  3. In the Node panel, select the node of the study or assay in which you intend to add a process.

  4. In the Visualization panel, proceed as follows:
    • If the study or assay does not already have a process: In the process view, click Create a new process. An arrow-plus icon appears, along with an option to delete the process.

    • If the study or assay already has one or more processes: Add a protocol step to the process, as described in Adding a Process Step. In the table view, click Add Row and specify values for all fields in the new row. Specify a different value for the protocol in the new row.

  5. Consider adding more process steps to the new process, as described in Adding a Process Step
  6. Consider saving your work, as described in one of the following pages:
