Retrospective

Liked (smile)

  • List anything that went well in this sprint including shout out to others that went out of their way to help (add your name after your comment)
  • 2022 Q2 Software Release on April 4th!!! Nice job by all (Kuffel, Gina (NIH/NCI) [C] )
  • With the OSA01 fully on-boarded onto our DEV tier, and with the submitter preview successfully completed, we've finally been able to push the study up to the QA tier for formal testing, and therefore release in the immediate future Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]

Lacked (sad)

  • List anything that we could have done better in this sprint (add your name after your comment)
  • Some bugs invoked by edge cases surfaced on the Data Model Explorer (Kuffel, Gina (NIH/NCI) [C] )
  • Hot Patches will be required for the Data Model Explorer (Kuffel, Gina (NIH/NCI) [C] )
  • Despite plenty of discussion around our plans, the final deployments to the Stage environment, and even more so to the Production environment, were poorly coordinated Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]
  • Discovering major bugs, albeit edge cases, in new functionality only after our Production release is disappointing. Thankfully, the functionalities of the data model explorer most critical to data submission, i.e. the table view downloads, were not impacted by these issues Musk, Philip (NIH/NCI) [C]

Learned(lightbulb)

  • List anything you learned about in this sprint (add your name after your comment)
  • To support gene annotation tracks in JBrowse genomic feature files need to be sources and formatted (Kuffel, Gina (NIH/NCI) [C] )
