SYNOPSIS: The cBio Cancer Genomics Portal (http://cbioportal.org) is an open-access resource for interactive exploration of multidimensional cancer genomics data sets. The portal currently provides integrated access to cancer genomic data on more than 5000 tumor samples from 20 cancer studies. This presentation will provide an introduction to the portal and describe how to mine data generated by The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) project.

BIO: Ethan Cerami is the Director of Cancer Informatics Development at the Computational Biology Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
