Sometimes an upload or download fails due to network issues or other issues. For Globus transfers, consider the following steps: 

  1. If you were using Globus for the transfer, check whether the Globus group has been given appropriate permissions to the target Globus endpoint. For instructions, refer to Preparing to Use Globus
  2. View the details about a specific failed request, as described in Viewing Status
  3. Click the retry icon in the Transfer Status column. The system submits a new request, identical to the original request. 
  4. If the issue persists, select About > Contact. For details, refer to Contacting Us.
