Linking to another wiki page or website
The following are the steps to link to another wiki page or a website.
- Type the description to use for the link text.
- Highlight your link text.
- Click the link icon in the Rich Text editor.
- In the dialog box, paste the Tiny Link for the page or the URL for the website.
You can also link to another wiki page by typing its name in square brackets, or paste the Tiny Link to the page or the link to the website directly into your text. Web accessibility guidelines indicate that links embedded with link text are preferred.
If you link to a site other than a US government site, include the destination in your link text, for example "topic (as explained on wikipedia.org).
