The caDSR II password rules follow NIH Guidelinesguidelines. NIH These guidelines suggest users create a Passphrase as they are much harder to break into.When passphrases, which are more secure. When creating or updating your caDSR II user account, keep in mind the following password rules:

  • Minimum of 15 characters
  • No Maximum
  • Case-sensitive
  • Reset Cycle is 365 days
  • Cannot reuse any of the last 10 passPhrases
  • Maximum of 6 attempts
