caDSR II password rules follow NIH Guidelines. NIH suggest users create a Passphrase as they are much harder to break into.
When creating or updating your caDSR II user account, keep in mind the following password rules:
Minimum of 15 characters
No Maximum
Case-sensitive
Reset Cycle is 365 days
Cannot reuse any of the last 10 passPhrases
Maximum of 6 attempts
