titlecaNanoLab Survey

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Office of Cancer Nanotechnology Research (OCNR) is working together with the NCI Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT) to submit nanotechnology data to the caNanoLab data repository (https://cananolab.nci.nih.gov/caNanoLab/home.jsp)Data Repository.

The objective is to curate cancer nanotechnology data under defined conditions in order to expedite the use of these data in the development of novel agents for cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. In order to do this, a survey is being conducted to learn what data sources are most relevant to you and to identify gaps in the caNanoLab database.

To volunteer your feedback, please click on the survey link below caNanoLab Survey Link. The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. All your answers will be kept secure to the extent provided by law.  All information collected will be pooled with other responses and will be reviewed in aggregate.

Please complete your survey by 8/12/2014. Thank you in advance for your time. We welcome your input and look forward to hearing from you.caNanoLab Survey:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6LGVP3M

Tool Overview

The cancer Nanotechnology Laboratory portal (caNanoLab) is a web-based portal designed to facilitate data sharing in the biomedical nanotechnology research community to expedite and validate the use of nanotechnology in biomedicine. caNanoLab provides support for the annotation of nanomaterials with characterizations resulting from physico-chemical and in vitro assays and for the sharing of these characterizations and associated nanotechnology protocols in a secure fashion.
