Phase II of Requirements process pertaining to identification and analysis has wrapped up, as follows:
- Demonstrations from RFI respondents requested and conducted.
- Completed demonstrations from known developers of MDR capabilities and RFI responses have been mapped to caDSR functional and non-functional requirements.
- Notes from demonstrations compiled and summarized, folded into the draft requirements document.
A representative group of NCI stakeholders have been identified and will be invited to participate in collaboration with us on Phase III of the new MDR requirements process, to help review, identify gaps, and prioritize our work for the next 2-3 years. A plan is in place to initiate a kick-off meeting and begin collaboration efforts in early 2016, dovetailing with a new NCI committee being formed by Dr. Kibbe to help validate and shape our metadata vision.
