If the following criteria are met, you can delete an empty dataset collection:
- You own the data. That is, you created empty the dataset collection.
- The data is not public. That is, the access_group attribute is not empty. For information, refer to Managing Group Access.
- The dataset collection is less than 90 days old.

- Log in, as described in Logging In.
- Perform a search, as described in Finding Data. In the search results, each entry lists the relevant collections (program, study, and data set)dataset collections. A delete icon appears next to each dataset collection that meets the above criteria. (TBD: Does the search results list include empty collections? If not, how would the user delete one?)
