  1. Search for the data of interest, as described in Finding Data
  2. In the search results, click the link for the asset of interest. The Asset Details page appears with the following lists:
    • The program, study, and asset names, as well as the asset path. .
    • The asset path and a shareable link. To copy the shareable link, click the copy icon. The system copies the URL to your clipboard.
    • A list of asset attributes and attribute values. If a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) attribute is available, you can share the URL for the asset with another user, using the following format: Code Blockhttps://modac.cancer.gov/searchTab?doi=<DOI value>an attribute value begins with http or https, DME displays it as a hyperlink. 
    • A list of files.

Sort by name or file sizeClick the column header. 
View all user metadata and key system metadata for a file

Click the Metadata icon (The Key System Metadata icon.) next to the filename. (For recently-updated metadata, click this icon one hour after the update.) If an attribute value begins with http or https, DME displays it as a hyperlink.
