1. Open a supported browser: 

   • Chrome
   • Firefox 

2. Navigate to the following portal:

   http://modac.cancer.gov/ 

   The home page appears. 

3. Click Search in the header. The Search page appears with the first page of all results.

4. Perform one or more of the following options:

   • To search by keyword: In the Search MoDaC field, type a keyword. Click the search icon () or press <Enter>.
   • To narrow results: In the Filters panel, select one or more filters. (If a filter has a long list, click # More to expand the list or Less to collapse the list. To clear all filters: click Clear All.) 
     • For some examples: 
       • To display only the models in which you can generate predictions, select Yes under Is Model Deployed. 
       • To display all datasets that are not reference datasets, select No under Is Reference Dataset.

       For details on these filter categories, refer to Generating Predictions.

     • If a category has a long list of filters:
       • To expand the list: Click # More.
       • To collapse the list: Click Less.  
       • To search for filters by keyword within
     To narrow the list of filters in
     • • a category: Click the magnifying glass icon. In the search box that appears, start typing. 
     • To clear all filters: click Clear All.

   The system lists all matching results. For details, refer to Using Search Results. 

Additional search options are available If you would like to search for data you can edit, you can do so after login. Additional results may also be available to you after login. For instructions, refer to Searching for Data You Can Edit.
