Listing links so only users with permission can see them

To avoid creating lists of links that include pages users are not permitted to see, rely on Confluence to generate the list of links. The following illustrates this guideline.

Avoid the scrollbar macro in a series of pages where some are restricted

The scrollbar macro shows links to all the pages in the series, whether the user has permission to see the page or not. When a user without permissions to view a page clicks the link to that page, the not permitted message appears and the user cannot resume scrolling.
