Embed the page title on each page using the page-info macro. The space home page title is at heading level one.

Introduce the topic of the space with the most important content for the audience.

Include convenience links if applicable, for example:

Other topic
Include sections for other important topics as applicable to your space. Add a child page below the wiki home page to "gather" the pages on all the topics in your space that have multiple pages. The NCI Wiki uses the Documentation Theme, so the page tree macro will show the page hierarchy in the left side bar.
Announcements
Use the blog and the recently-updated macro to list announcements. You can also use the recently-updated macro to provide a list of the most recently updated pages.
