You can permanently delete a data file and associated metadata, if the following criteria are all true:
- Your user account has the group administrator role.
- You created that data file.
- That data file is less than 90 days old.
If your user account has the system administrator role, you can permanently delete any data file and associated metadata.
- Log in as described in Logging In via the GUI. The Dashboard appears.
- Browse for content as described in Browsing for Data via the GUI. The Browse page appears.
- Navigate to and right-click the data file you want to delete. Click View Details. The Data File page appears.
- On the Data File page, click the delete icon ( ). A message appears, prompting you to confirm the deletion.
- Click OK. The system permanently deletes the file.
