The numbered headings plugin provides the Numbered Headings macro, which makes it possible to number the headings on a page. The headings on the page must start at level one. The following numbered headings are created with the macro.
To embed the page title at heading level one
- Type the page title after the first heading at level one.
- Create the table of contents within the Numbered Headings macro panel.
- Specify the minimum level as two.
- In the parameters of the Numbered Headings macro, set the initial level for numbering to heading level 2, and enter the number to start with, 1. Then create the other headings starting with heading level two.
