Highlights of caIntegrator v1.3 released on 06/17/2011

  • Visualization capabilties for copyNumber and Expression data using The Integrative Genomics Viewer (IGV). IGV is high performance visualization tool for interactive exploration of large, integrated datasets.
  • Visualization capabilties for copyNumber using NCI CGWB Heatmap viewer. Heatmap viewer is a tool for visualization of copy-number data and associated clinical annotations.
  • Support for the caCGHcall grid service to process copyNumber(CGH) data using Bioconductor CGH package. CGHcall allows users to make an objective and effective classification of their aCGH data into copy number states (loss, normal, gain or amplification).
  • Querying of Copy Number data by Mean Segment Values and by Calls value (Calls values available when caCGHcall service is selected).
  • Capability to use supplemental file from caArray for all supported platforms.

For a complete list of new features for 1.3 please see the release notes.

Highlights of caIntegrator v1.2 released on 09/10/2010

  • ability to construct queries from GenePattern GISTIC results, consisting of amplified and deleted genes
  • enhancement to copyNumber data processing to allow multiple platforms and perform Bioconductor caDNACopy using grid interface
  • support queries on copyNumber segmentation data - combining with other datasets including expression and clinical
  • capability to integrate AIM (Annotation Image Markup) data from the grid and perform queries and analysis combining with other datasets
