If you have a user account with upload permission and you have read access to Globus, you can upload one or more files from Globus. For information, refer to Preparing to Use Globus

  1. Log in, as described in Logging In
  2. Make sure your window is wide enough to display the Uploads option in the header.
  3. Click Uploads. The upload page appears. 
  4. Navigate to the dataset:
    1. Select an existing program or add a new one. 
    2. Select an existing study or add a new one. 
    3. Select an existing dataset or add a new one.

    For instructions, refer to Adding a Collection.

  5. Click Add Data. Select Transfer from Globus > Select Data from Globus Endpoint. A Globus page appears. 
  6. In Globus, select an endpoint. Select the files or folders that you want to upload. Click  Submit. The upload page reappears with the Globus endpoint ID and path, and the list of selected data files. 
  7. Click Register. The system transfers the data based on your selections. 
  8. When the system displays the task ID, consider copying that ID and viewing the status of the upload. For instructions, refer to Viewing Download or Upload Status
