If all of the following conditions are true, you can generate predictions from a model asset collection: 

  • You have a MoDaC user account with upload permission.
  • You belong to a group that can modify that collection.
  • The inferencing feature is available for that collection. 

MoDaC accepts any file type (such as TXT, PDF, JSON, or TAR) as input.

To generate predictions:

  1. Log in, as described in Logging In

  2. Perform a search for data, as described in Searching for Data. In the Asset Type filter, select Model. The search results appear. 

  3. In data search results, click the link for the asset of interest. The system displays the details page for that asset. For information, refer to Exploring Details of an Asset.

  4. In the Asset Files section of the page, click Generate Predictions. The Generate Predictions dialog box appears. 

  5. Select the type of data you want to upload. 
  6. Click Choose File. Navigate to and select your file. For details, refer to one of the following pages:

    The filename appears next to the Choose File button.

  7. Click Generate. The system processes your request.

  8. When the system displays the task ID, consider viewing the status of the request. For instructions, refer to Viewing Status.
