If the following criteria are met, you can delete a collection within an asset:
- You have permission to delete it in one of the following ways:
- Via ownership: You created it.
- Via group permissions (as described in Managing Edit Permissions) and delete permission. (To request permission to delete data, select About > Contact. For details, refer to Contacting Us.)
- The collection is empty.
To delete a collection:
- Log in, as described in Logging In.
- Perform a search for data, as described in Searching for Data.
- In the search results, click the link for the asset of interest. The Asset Details page appears.
- If necessary, navigate to the collection that you want to delete. (Under Asset Files, click each collection to open it.)
- In the row for the collection that you want to delete, click the delete collection icon. A confirmation message appears.
- Click Yes.
