Creating a Model Mapping Instance

If you are a model mapping expert, you can create a model mapping instance:

1. Log in as described in Logging In.
2. Select Manage > Manage Data > Model Mapping Maintenance. The corresponding page appears. (Logged in users can add pages like this to their favorites. For instructions, refer to Managing Favorites.)  
3. Select Insert > Insert. The Model Mappings page appears.
4. Enter the following information:
   • Model Mapping Name
   • Owned By (context name)
   • Definition
   • Source Model (component)
   • Target Model (component)
5. Click Save.

At this point, you can import updates to this model mapping, as described in Importing Updates to Registered Model Mappings.
