Creating a wiki home page for a team

The following are the steps to create a "wiki home page" for the work your team is doing in an existing space.

  1. Navigate to the "wiki home page" of the Space you will be working in, or to the page that's the most logical higher level container for your page (the same way you pick a high level topic in an outline, to put a topic under).
  2. On that page, click the Add Page link.
  3. When the new page editing window opens, type your page title and text in the usual way.
  4. When you're finished, click Save.
  5. Restrict viewing or editing of the page or both if you wish.
  6. Add "child" pages to your wiki home page to create a "page family" that is a useful hierarchy of pages for your team.

Note

When you restrict viewing of a page, the restriction applies to all the child pages at subsequent levels. When you restrict editing of a page, the restriction applies to that page only.
