Wiki Space Top Level Topic Example One

This page represents a large, key topic in the space.

Note that the

{scrollbar:icons=false}

macro is being used throughout this example of the pages in a space, to provide a next-previous and up-one-level browse sequence. This is optional, but very useful. The icons have no alt text and may not be displayed on the NCI Wiki.

There could be many child pages below the first level topic pages, each child page gathering other pages on another large topic. Each would have the page title embedded, as this page does, at heading level one, typically with the macro

{page-info:title}

.

A page like this should not have a lot of content, and should have no subheadings. If you use subheadings here, and you make a PDF of the pages to create a "book," the headings in the "book" will not be in sequence.

A page like this optimally says only "The following topics are included:"

{children:all=true}

The children macro lists the pages gathered by the top level topic page. The parameter "all=true" is optional. Without the parameter, a list with only the child pages of the top level topic page will be displayed. Continue to Wiki Space Top Level Topic Example Two to see how the macro works.
