redirection of EVS legacy systems | Met last Friday, will aim to start redirect test on Nov 4 Approaches: (A) have Prod be unavailable during data deployment (~2h); and there is a small risk of not full testing (hostname, not url) ; ← desired approach process will be to test on stage with hostname (not url) while re-direction happens, and then when deployment happens on prod it will be down and unavailable. There is some limitations on testing stage with hostname only, some tests won't work; some risk involved. TODO write up the process in more clarity. TODO put the notification on Agenda. | EVS transition to virtual machines | Status: STAGE is up and running. Next milestone will be a test deployment to the new PROD2 - which Systems would like to aim for next week (during the week). Discussion about appropriate settings (including proxy setup) and machine resources (including more memory). TODO Verify new PROD2 will be a dedicated machine. |
| Security | Status: ✅ NCIt is now running on STAGE, and we're making progress. Tomcat 8.5 → Tomcat 9 (v8.5 has reached EOL), The deadline for turning off Tomcat 8.5 is Oct 24 |
