Improvements

To simplify the process of adding data to caNanoLab, you can now import tables of data from, for example, Microsoft Excel, into the Findings section of assay data entry.

  1. Edit a Sample.
  2. Select the Characterization menu, and add/edit a characterization.

  3. Add/Edit a Finding, and click Import csv to add data from a file.

  4. Click Save.

If you add an Inherent Function in a Composing Element, the Inherent Function is now saved. 

  1. Edit a Sample.
  2. Select the Composing Element menu and add an Inherent Function.

  3. Click Save and the Inherent Function is saved in the Composing Element.

When you edit or add a characterization (Characterization→Finding→Finding Info→Data and Conditions), changing the order of the columns does not delete all the data.

When you save Finding Info data and there is a server error, you will receive an error message indicating that your data was not saved.

When you edit or add a characterization (Characterization→Finding→Finding Info→Data and Conditions), the text changes to red if your entry causes an error.

Known Issues and Workarounds
