For composition, when you save/update a composing entity, caNanoLab now consistently displays the amount(s) saved. Previously, you may only have seen amount(s) when editing the entity but not after saving/updating.

To simplify the process of adding data to caNanoLab, you can now import tables of data from, for example, Microsoft Excel, into the Findings section of assay data entry.

When you edit or add a characterization (Characterization→Finding→Finding Info→Data and Conditions), changing the order of the columns does not delete all the data.

When you save Finding Info data and there is a server error, you will receive an error message indicating that your data was not saved.

When you edit or add a characterization (Characterization→Finding→Finding Info→Data and Conditions), the text will change to red if your entry will cause an error.

The correct help page now displays on the Publication page, Managing Publications.

  1. Search for a Sample.
  2. Click the Sample Publication tab.
  3. On the Publication page, click Help.

  1. Click the Publications menu.
  2. Click Creat New Publication.
  3. On the Create Publication page, click Help.

If you log into caNanoLab as a Curator and generate data availability for all samples, the correct help page now displays on the Results page, Reviewing Batch Results.

  1. Launch caNanoLab, login as Curator
  2. Click the Curation menu.
  3. On the Curation page, click on Manage Batch Data Availability.
  4. Select Generate data availability for all samples, and click Submit.
  5. Click the Results button.
  6. On the Results Page, click Help.
