EVS Weekly Tech Meeting

Discussion Points:

  • LexEVS
    • CentOS 7/Tomcat 85 Docker image is now working within our Docker/Jenkins environment
    • We discussed Maria DB as a potential new DB to use/investigate.
    • CTS2 API on Heroku should be moved NCI environment.
      • Work with Gilberto and systems team to get this work started.
    • 6.4 to 6.5 migration of the remote API with caDSR has been started.  This migration is going well. Further testing is still neededLooking at DEV system to be configured to run Docker containers.

  • We mentioned this topic and suggested to start thinking what would be included in the next release and what time framereviewed the email that what created by Scott and updated by Larry.

Decision Points:

  • Mayo team to put together some information of what features/issues are currently implemented (post 6.5) and what is queued up.
  • The VS Hierarachy feature should be included in the next release.
  • suggest updates to the Java8 note in the email.

  • NCI team will review the release notes and we will discuss at our next meeting again.  Specifically, we will need to determine what content should be included in this release.
  • In the migration notes, we need to be more clear on the following:
    • Users only need to migrate in certain cases.
    • Add back in the objective note.
