Excerpt include example

The following is an example of the Excerpt include macro.

This is an Excerpt on a page titled "Page with Excerpt." Excerpts are useful, but each page can have only one. The Multiexcerpt macro allows for creating as many excerpts as needed on a single page.

To create an Excerpt include

  • Navigate to the place on the page where you want to include the content from another page.
  • Type {Excerpt
  • From the list of suggestions, select Excerpt include.
  • In the macro text box, enter the name of the page with the excerpt.
  • Check the option to Remove Surrounding Panel.

Multiexcerpt include example

The following is an example of a Multiexcerpt include macro.

This is a multiexcerpt on the page titled "Page with Multiexcerpts" and having the name MultiExcerptExampleOne. Use the Multiexcerpt macro to create more than one excerpt on any page.

The following is another example of a Multiexcerpt include macro, for a mutliexcerpt on the same page.

This is a multiexcerpt  on the page titled "Page with Multiexcerpts" and having the name MultiExcerptExampleTwo. This shows more than one excerpt on a single page for including on another page.

To create a Multiexcerpt include

  • Navigate to the place on the page where you want to include the information.
  • Type {Multiexcerpt
  • From the list of suggestions, select Multiexcerpt include.
  • In the macro text boxes, enter the name of the page with the mutliexcerpt and the name of the multiexcerpt.
  • Select the option for no panel.

You can define as many excerpts as needed on a single page with the Multiexcerpt macro. You can include a Multiexcerpt from a page in another space. The page title is in the form "spacykey:pageName."

If you include Multiexcerpts inside one another (nest them) bulleted lists will not render properly. Links in a Multiexcerpt include may not render properly in another Multiexcerpt include.
