Fix an issue in sample search. Also, upgraded from Java 8 to 17, Spring Framework 5.2.21 to 5.3.39, Spring Security 5.2.10 to 5.8.14,

Hibernate 5.1.17.Final to 5.4.33.Final, Wildfly 23.0.2.Final to 25.0.1.Final

Display message for protocol search when no results are found.

Add an editable DOI field to Protocols.

Incorporate DOI into the Protocol search. All users (logged in or not) should be able to search for an exact DOI string and get a result.

For My Protocols, the first link under Actions should be View, rather than Edit, if user doesn't have edit permissions.

On Search Results and My Favorites, add protocol summary page links.

Add a better error message for an invalid username or password.

For sample search (particularly Characterization), fixed some issues with samples not being found,

or too many brought back.

For search results, add link Details in Action column. When the user clicks on it, they 

will get an edit or a view page, depending on their access.

For users who are not logged in, provide a way to view publication and protocol.

When a new user registers for an account, the link sent to them to set their password

will be available for 48 hours (instead of 2 hours).
